2026 Fall and 2027 Spring/Summer Team Tryouts
**Please note, our program is a year round development program. Tryouts are for the fall, winter, spring (excluding HS teams), and summer seasons and our fees reflect our year round offerings. We believe development in the game of baseball takes time and requires extended practice. In our experience, the players who develop the best are the ones who commit themselves to the long term process.

Our 13u MBC Prospects South Team will be run as a partnership with the Brooklyn Park Select program and will be based out of Anne Arundel County with practices taking place at Brooklyn Park.

WHEN ARE TRYOUTS?
Dates will appear above and vary by age group.
WHERE ARE TRYOUTS LOCATED?
Tryouts are held at various locations depending on time of year.
WHAT AGE GROUPS WILL YOU BE OFFERING?
We will be offering age groups 9u-18u. However, age group offerings could change.
WHY DON’T I SEE MY AGE GROUP?
The age groups we offer vary year to year. Various factors influence what age groups we offer such as interest level and having a quality coach in place to lead a particular age group. In most cases an age group is not offered because we either don’t have a coach in place at the moment or did not have a team at the previous age during the prior season.
ARE TRYOUTS FOR FALL, SPRING/SUMMER, OR BOTH?
Tryouts are for both fall and spring/summer which also includes winter workouts. Unlike other programs, we do not offer separate tryouts for the fall and spring/summer seasons. We believe baseball development takes time and consistency and therefore at a minimum a full years worth of coaching is required. Developing a player starts with getting a player into our program at the start of the fall season.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE SCHEDULED TRYOUT DATE?
No worries! We understand there are conflicts and if you are unable to attend your age groups scheduled date, simply send us an email and we will work with you to schedule a private workout or have you attend another date. We want to ensure everyone who wants to try out for our program has an opportunity to do so.
WHAT IF I CAN’T COMMIT TO A FALL SEASON OR ONLY WANT TO PLAY FALL AND GIVE THE PROGRAM/TEAM A TRY?
While being a part of our fall program and team for a full year will maximize your development, we are also supportive of players taking a break from baseball and focusing on other sports as well as being hesitant to make a full year commitment. If this applies to you please reach out to our program President to discuss your options.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE TEAMS IN AN AGE GROUP, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TEAM TO TRYOUT FOR?
For age groups with multiple teams, we will place players according to needs of the specific team. We DO NOT have “A” or “B” teams. We strive to make all our teams as competitive as possible.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE DATES LISTED FOR AN AGE GROUP, DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL DATES?
No. You only need to attend one tryout date.
WHAT IS ALL INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NORMAL HIGH SCHOOL AGE GROUP AND YOUR MBC PROSPECT TEAMS?
Our MBC Prospect Teams are geared more towards those individuals with aspirations of playing college baseball. Our normal age groups still offer all the same features of our prospect teams but we wanted to offer other options for those kids who just want to play competitive baseball. There’s always an opportunity to play on one of our prospect teams even if you are on a regular HS team.
